These cinnamon raisin rolls are soft and fluffy with plump raisins in both the dough and filling.  Topped with a vanilla  cream cheese icing, they make an amazing brunch. This recipe is dairy free!

oat milk

step 1

Soak the raisins in hot water to rehydrated them while making the dough.

step 2

Add half the sugar to warm milk and mix in the yeast. Set aside for 5 minutes to activate.

step 3

Mix the flour, cinnamon, remaining sugar, and salt together in a large bowl.

step 4

Add the milk/yeast mixture, melted vegan butter and vanilla to a well in the center.

step 5

Use a spatula to knead into a soft and sticky dough.

step 6

Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size.

step 7

Roll out the dough and embed the drained raisins with a rolling pin. 

step 8

Shape into a ball and re-roll into a rectangle. Spread filling on top.


Roll into a log and slice into 8 pieces. Transfer to a baking pan and let rise a 2nd time.


Bake at 375F for 20-24 minutes until golden on top. Finish with the icing!
