These easy sesame yaki udon noodles are coated in a savory homemade sauce and stir fried with broccolini and onions.  Top with tofu or seitan strips for a veggie-friendly dinner.

step 1

In a large wok, heat neutral oil or a tablespoon of sesame oil.

step 2

Add the onion and cook until translucent.

step 3

Add the broccolini or any other veggies you'd like!

Mix together the ingredients for the sesame sauce in a small bowl or measuring cup.

step 5

Add the udon noodles to the pan. Cover and let them soften for 2-3 minutes. Then toss with the sauce.

step 6

Add in the baked tofu,  the seitan strips, or your protein of choice.


Top the sesame udon noodles with green onions, cilantro and toasted sesame seeds.


These noodles are great with broccolini but you can use other veggies on hand like bell peppers or snap peas.
