This easy vanilla iced coffee recipe features a homemade vanilla bean syrup that takes your morning brew to the next level with its rich, aromatic vanilla flavor.

You can use vanilla bean pods, vanilla bean paste, or pure vanilla extract.

step 1

Make the simple syrup by simmering sugar, water and a vanilla bean until thickened.

Let the syrup cool at room temperature. It will thicken as it cools.

Make cold brew or brew a shot of espresso to make a vanilla iced latte.

step 4

Add the cold brew, vanilla syrup and milk of choice to a serving glass. Top with ice.


For more flavor, add a splash or two of you favorite French Vanilla Creamer!


Transfer the syrup to a clean glass container. Once cooled, store in the fridge.


Add more creamer, ice or vanilla syrup to taste and enjoy!
