Vegan Pound Cake

This is the best vegan pound cake with a perfectly moist, buttery, dense crumb.  This recipe includes instructions for baking the cake in a loaf pan, a bundt pan, or muffin pan!

main ingredients

vegan butter

vanilla & almond extract

all purpose flour

vegan yogurt


almond milk

baking powder & salt

step 1

Lightly grease and flour a loaf pan.

step 2

Mix the softened vegan butter and sugar together until light and airy.

step 3

Add half of the dry ingredients and mix with the mixer for 30 seconds.

step 4

Add the room temperature vegan yogurt, almond milk and extracts. Then mix to form a smooth batter.

step 5

Fold in the remaining dry ingredients until just combined.

step 6

Spoon the batter into the pan. Then, run a buttered knife down the middle.


Bake for 15 mins at 425F then 40-50 mins at 350F.
