These Vegetarian and Vegan Philly Cheesesteaks are made with chewy, savory seitan beef, a vegan provolone cheese sauce, and lots of sautéed peppers and onions.

step 1

Sauté the onions and peppers for 5-8 minutes.

step 2

Meanwhile, make the cheese sauce.

step 3

Melt vegan butter then add minced garlic.

step 4

Spread garlic butter on hoagie rolls and toast them. Then, assemble the sandwich.

step 5

Spread the cheese sauce on both sides of the roll, then fill with the seitan and veggies.

Serve with french fries or a side salad!
