This buttermilk vegan air fryer seitan chicken is crispy with a tender & chewy texture.
– Chicken Seitan – Flour – Spices and Salt – Vegan Buttermilk – Oil
Follow our easy instructions for success!
Make the seitan by combining vital wheat gluten with the liquids. Gently knead the dough for about 1 minute.
Divide into 5-6 pieces, and shape them into fillets or drumsticks.
Dredge the seitan chicken in vegan buttermilk and breading twice.
With a pastry brush, brush the oil onto the front and back of the battered chicken.
Air fry for 16-20 minutes, flipping each piece halfway through.
