shrimp and grits

This vegan shrimp and grits recipe has a bed of creamy dairy-free grits that are topped with sauteed greens and crispy vegan shrimp. 


step 1

prep the homemade vegan shrimp

step 2

bring veggie stock and dairy free milk to a boil

step 3

add the grits and simmer for 15 minutes

step 4

stir in vegan butter, vegan cheddar cheese, and salt & pepper

step 5

saute onion, garlic, and leafy greens until tender


spoon the grits into a bowl and top with more vegan butter

Add the leafy greens and vegan shrimp on top. Garnish with lemon juice and red pepper flakes!
